Buying a Model

We supply our models to customers in the UK and worldwide wherever PayPal is available. Whilst we offer free postage & packing to all our customers, overseas customers should note that customs charges & duties may apply.

Buying a model is really simple. You can purchase directly from our website and make payment through PayPal. If you are a UK customer we will also accept orders by email and payment by cheque or postal order. Scroll down for further details of how to buy directly from our website or how to order by email.

How to buy directly from our website

1. Click on the Add to Cart button under the model you are interested in to add it to your shopping cart.

2. Review your shopping cart & when you are happy click on the Checkout button, this will transfer you to PayPal's secure website.

3. You can now opt to pay using your PayPal account (if you have one) or by debit or credit card. Just follow the instructions on the screen.

4. You should ensure your delivery address is correct. 

5. PayPal will forward your payment to us but we will never know or handle your banking or card details.

6. You will receive an email confirmation of your payment from PayPal.

7. We will post out your model within five working days of receipt of cleared payment in to our PayPal account.

8. We will send an email confirming your model has been posted to the email address on your PayPal account. 

How to order by Email (UK customers only)

1. Contact us by email at builtmodelshop@btinternet.com indicating the model(s) you want to buy.

2. We will advise you how to make payment & reserve the model for you for 7 days to enable you to send payment to us.

3. We will notify you by email of receipt of your payment. 

4. Your model will be posted to you within 5 working days of your payment clearing.

5. We will send you an email confirming postage.
